Behavioral Interviewing
In this sort of interviewing, the interviewer tends to ask questions about general situations and normally the candidate is asked to describe how the handled a particular situation or problem. Typical questions that may be asked in a behavioral interview are, "Describe a time when you had to work with someone you did not like?" or "Tell me about a decision that you had made, that made you hugely unpopular?" the purpose of these questions are to try and ascertain how the candidate would respond in situations that would be relevant to the job.
